Joanne Price
Solicitor
Experience
Joanne has over 20 years’ experience in commercial litigation and real estate litigation. She qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and has since worked in a number of reputable firms in London and Bristol and in-house for household names. She has helped businesses large and small to resolve disputes involving breach of contract, debt recovery, shareholder disputes, and insolvency-related matters. She is also an expert in resolving all types of property disputes for commercial landlords and tenants, including lease renewals and terminations, dilapidations, possession claims and forfeiture.
In Joanne’s own words:
“Being a consultant and having worked for a variety of SMEs has provided me with valuable insight on the particular problems for companies arising out of litigation. Litigation is a costly and unwelcome distraction from the normal activity of a business and it is essential that all viable routes to resolving the dispute are explored before the court process is engaged, not only to minimize the cost, but to preserve business relationships and standing.“
Other Interests
Joanne likes old things from huge cathedrals to rural parish churches, and discovering the history behind the artefacts that are found in them. She is also a lapsed Latin and Greek scholar and still loves to find and translate inscriptions and epitaphs. She is also a keen hiker and likes nothing better than to find an old church at the end of a long walk.
